Miomir Kecmanovic vs Tomas Martin Etcheverry Prediction & Betting Tips - Rolex Paris Masters

World number 31 Tomas Martin Etcheverry takes on Miomir Kecmanovic in round one of the Paris Masters. The unenviable task for the winner is a second round match against top seeded Novak Djokovic. Etcheverry is only one place behind his career high achieved in June of this year. He can at least equal that if beating Kecmanovic. The Argentinian reached the quarter finals in Basel last week with wins over Sebastian Korda and Andy Murray. He then took on Holger Rune and lost but did win the second set. That was a welcome return to form after losing his previous three matches. His best results this year have come on clay but Etcheverry has got to two hard court quarter finals in the past couple of months.

Miomir Kecmanovic is 22 places below his opponent in the world rankings. He was as high as 27th at the start of the year but in terms of Grand Slam events he'll want to forget 2023. The Serb lost in the first round of each of the four tournaments after winning eight matches in them last year. Kecmanovic also lost to Holger Rune in three sets last week but in the last 32. He'd beaten Rune previously this month on his way to reaching the last four in Stockholm. A quarter final appearance was made in Chengdu but there have also been some disappointing losses in recent weeks and he had to retire against world number 186 Yunchaokete Bu in Shanghai. There's not much between these two players but we tip Etcheverry to get the victory.
