The winner of this encounter will next play either unseeded Juan Manuel Cerundolo or eighth-seed Jannik Sinner. Miomir Kecmanovic will be out to tie his season's win-loss record in this match. The Serb is having a topsy-turvy year and arrives here having lost one more match than he has won. In his last match, he was eliminated in the quarterfinals at Eastbourne by eventual finalist Gregoire Barrere. Kecmanovic has lost all three encounters with Schwartzman and will be out to halt this one-sided exchange. Schwartzman made his season debut on grass in London and has one win on the surface. This will be his eighth appearance at Wimbledon where his best result has been making the third round in 2019 and 2021. He has however been eliminated more times in the first round than at any other stage.
