Fifth seed Cameron Norrie will meet unseeded Miomir Kecmanovic will on Monday in the first round of the Queen’s Club Championship. A second-round showdown with either Milos Raonic or Jordan Thompson awaits the winner here. Kecmanovic comes to this encounter having lost his last three matches. In his last outing, he was defeated in straight sets by the returning Milos Raonic in Hertogenbosch. This was his first match on grass for the season and he will seek to make amends against Norrie. It will be a tough task though for the Serb as he has lost both matches against the Brit to date. The Briton has registered a record of 29 wins and 11 losses so far this year. This form should have him confident of eclipsing his best-ever result here which was a finals appearance in 2021. Norrie isn’t a strong performer on grass and has also lost more than he has won on the surface. But his dominance over Kecmanovic should have him confident of starting his campaign with a win. He has played in three finals so far this year and has one title win. The week starts with him placed 13th in the live ranking.
