Christmas is approaching but the Green Bay Packers have to concentrate on this match first. They are 11-3 for the season and already through to the play-offs and will hope to get a win away at Minnesota Vikings. It's a vital game because Green Bay can clinch NFC North if they win this match against the Vikings who are second in the divison with a 10-4 record. The Packers are 4-0 for games against the other sides in their division, compared to 2-2 for their opponents. Green Bay haven't been in the play-offs since 2016 and their performance this year is a big improvement on the 6-9-1 they finished on last season. They come into this game having won their last three matches. Earlier in the season they had a 21-16 win over the Vikings and will be looking to repeat that this matchday to clinch the division.

Minnesota have also shown improvement this year and go into this weekend holding the final wild card place in the NFC. Last season saw them end on a record of 8-7-1. The Vikings have won four of their last five games, the other match being a 37-30 loss at the Seattle Seahawks. They need to win one of their last two games to clinch a wild card place but may have to wait until the final weekend of the regular season when they host the Chicago Bears. They are up against a strong Green Bay defense and the tip here is for that to help the Packers get the win they need.
