Minnesota Twins vs Chicago White Sox Prediction & Betting Tips - MLB
by Joseph King | in MLB Predictions
Saturday in Major League Baseball sees an AL Central battle when the Minnesota Twins host the Chicago White Sox at Target Field. The Twins, Guardians and White Sox are all involved in a tight race for the division lead, with Minnesota currently holding a 2.5 game lead over Cleveland for first-place. The Twins have a record of 49-43 which also puts them three games ahead of their opponents today. Chicago sits at an even .500 with a 45-45 record and face a crucial next six games with two games against Minnesota followed by a four game series against the Guardians. Our game today is the third in a four-game series in which the White Sox did well to close the gap by winning the first two. They’ll look to make it three in a row here against a Twins team that has lost six of their last 10.
Taking the mound for the White Sox is Lance Lynn with the 35-year-old looking to build some consistency this season after making the All-Star team last year. Lynn is only 1-2 on the season with a 6.97 ERA in six starts and is coming off a tough outing in his last start. The 11-year righty gave up eight earned runs in only four innings of work against the Guardians, in a game that Chicago would ultimately lose 8-4. For the hosts, Dylan Bundy gets the start. The 29-year-old is 5-4 on the year with a 4.68 ERA and is coming off a four earned run, six hit performance through five innings in his last start. Although he struggled a bit in his last outing, Bundy has put forth some solid starts recently. Looking at Bundy’s last five starts, the righty has given up nine total runs on 23 hits in 29 total innings pitched – pretty strong results.
