Wednesday will see the battle of two 2023 division winners as the 2-2 Minnesota Twins face off against the 4-1 Baltimore Orioles. The Twins have been doing the little things right so far in these games, hitting for a solid average and moving runners over. One thing that they have not done is hit for any power with just a single ball leaving the yard so far in spring training. Their pitching has struggled to keep the opposition off base so far with a 1.59 WHIP but when they have had runners on, they have knuckled down and got the outs when they have needed them, giving up an average of just four runs per game.  

The O's have picked up where they left off last season with an impressive start to the spring. They have been carried to this record by a number of players who will not be household names. Coby Mayo is yet to make his major league debut for the team but he has swung a hot bat so far in spring training, the 22-year-old looking an excellent prospect for the team. Daniel Johnson has gone 4/9 so far with three extra-base hits, picking up three of those in Tuesday's win over the Detroit Tigers. The O's damage has been done with the long ball so far, hitting barely over .200 as a team but they have hit six deep to make their mark.
