The Minnesota Timberwolves will host stuttering Sacramento Kings in their next outing in the NBA. They enter this match in seventh place in the Western Conference, 2.5 games clear of their 10th-placed visitors. Read on for our prediction of this match.

The Timberwolves are coming off a shocking 105-103 loss to the Wizards. They were on a five-match winning run while the Wizards had lost 16 straight.

It is also fair to remember that Chris Finch’s men were without Julius Randle, Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo in the loss. The three remain on the injury report with DiVincenzo ruled out entirely.

Minnesota have compiled a 27-22 record with two of those wins coming against Sacramento.

The Kings defeated the T-wolves in the more recent meeting. They won 115-104 in Minnesota back in November and will hope to rise to the occasion once again and avoid losing this series.

Doug Christie’s men, currently on a six-match road trip, have struggled. They have just one win in their last five games.

The Kings, who’ve lost back-to-back fixtures, were hammered 144-110 by the high-flying OKC Thunder last time out.

De’Aaron Fox, who was averaging a team-high 25 points, scored 20 points in Oklahoma. This turned out to be his final game for the team that drafted him. Fox has since been traded to the San Antonio Spurs.
