It's been a big week for the Philadelphia 76ers after ending the unbeaten away run of the LA Lakers. They top the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference and travel to Minnesota Timberwolves, bottom of the Western Conference Northwest Division. The 76ers have a 13-6 record for the season and overall they are top of the Eastern Conference, two wins ahead of the Minnesota Bucks. Home form has played a massive part in their success with 10 wins out of 11.  Of their 19 games this season, only eight have been played on the road with three wins and five defeats.  This week has already seen them edge out the Lakers by a point, now they have to repeat that good form on the road and this game at the Timberwolves is a great opportunity.

The home side are struggling this season and come into this game with a 4-13 season record. Three of those wins have come at home but they have been beaten six times. They are rooted to the bottom of the Northwest Division of the Western Conference, four wins behind the Oklahoma City Thunder. They are also bottom of the Western Conference, so it's going to take an amazing turnaround in form for them to get anwyhere near the play-offs. Six of their last seven games have been lost and another loss is very likely this weekend. Go for the 76ers to boost their away record with a win in this game.
