The Minnesota Timberwolves will face the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 4 of their NBA Playoff series at the Target Center on Sunday. The Timberwolves beat the Lakers in the last match and lead the series 2-1. Here’s our prediction for the upcoming match. 

Game 3 was an extremely close contest for the first three quarters, but a crucial 13-1 run by the Minnesota Timberwolves with just over four minutes left in the fourth quarter helped them pull away to a 116-104 victory. 

Jaden McDaniels posted a Playoff career-best of 30 points, but his good work did not only come on offence, as he also did an excellent job of guarding Luka Doncic. 

Anthony Edwards ended the night with 29 points and led the late-game charge. The one low point for Minnesota was the performance of Rudy Gobert, who managed only a single point in 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles Lakers fans will be concerned about the fitness of Doncic, who was reported to have been struggling with a stomach bug and did not look himself in Game 3.

The Slovenian shot just six of 16 for 17 points, a notable dip after putting up 30+ points in the two previous games. However, LeBron James stepped up in a big way, scoring 38 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. 

One area the Lakers need to improve from the last match is reducing the number of times they gave away possession, as they committed 16 turnovers, while the Timberwolves also managed 10 steals.
