The out-of-form Minnesota Timberwolves will be at home against the LA Clippers in their next outing in the NBA. They are 12th in the Western Conference, three games behind the Clippers who are sixth. Below is our prediction for this match.

The Timberwolves have lost their last four matches. This is the second time this season they have lost as many successive games. 

Chris Finch’s men are a shadow of the team that reached the conference finals last season. They are 8-10 after 18 matches and have won only twice in their last nine outings. 

Minnesota, who could be without Joe Ingles, were defeated 115-104 last time out by the Kings. 

The Clippers will be confident of securing victory here as they arrive in excellent form. Ty Lue’s men have won six times in their last seven fixtures with their only defeat being against the Boston Celtics. 

The Clippers, who blew out the Wizards on the road by 25 points in their last match, have won 12 of their 20 matches. 

Five of those victories have come on the road while another seven have been against fellow West teams. The Clippers earned a close 89-88 victory the last time they were in Minnesota.
