The Minnesota Timberwolves have returned home for their next NBA assignment against the Golden State Warriors. They arrive for this match in eighth place in the Western Conference standings, two games clear of their visitors in 12th. Below is our prediction for this match.

The Timberwolves got back to winning ways last time out with a 120-106 victory away to league strugglers the Wizards. A disappointing 127-125 loss at home to the Grizzlies had snapped a three-match winning run.

Chris Finch’s men have now moved up to three games above .500 after claiming their 21st win of the season.

The Warriors, on their part, have regressed and continued to tumble down the Western Conference. Steve Kerr’s men have compiled a 19-20 record and lie 0.5 games adrift of the playoff places.

They have lost four times in their last five outings and are on a two-match skid with both defeats coming on the road. A shorthanded Golden State line-up lost 104-101 away to the Raptors last time out.

Draymond Green and Jonathan Kuminga missed the game in Toronto due to injuries. The duo is likely to miss this trip also alongside Brandin Podziemski.

The Warriors have won two of the three duels with the T-wolves this season. Another victory will see them claim all the spoils in this four-game series.
