The Milwaukee Bucks will be at home to welcome the Brooklyn Nets seeking to get back to winning ways in the NBA. They are currently second in the Eastern Conference standings while the Nets are almost 20 games behind them in 11th place. The Bucks are coming off a 122-119 loss to the Celtics in Boston on the first night of a back-to-back. The loss all but confirmed that top spot in the East is beyond them now. They will however seek an immediate response to tighten their hold on second spot. The Bucks, who have compiled a 44-25 record, are one game clear of the Cavaliers in third. They have had to do without Giannis Antetokounmpo for the last two games due to a hamstring issue. The Bucks’ leading scorer has also been ruled out for this game. Milwaukee, who had won twice in a row before playing the Celtics, have defeated Brooklyn in both matchups this season. Both have been on the road with the most recent encounter ending 144-122 back in December.

The Nets are reeling and have lost their last four games. They have managed just one win in their last seven fixtures. This slump has seen them lose ground in the race for playoff qualification. Kevin Ollie’s are currently 4.5 games from the play-in places. They were defeated 104-91 last time out at home by the Pelicans. This was their 43rd loss of the season. Brooklyn will have Nicolas Claxton questionable for this game while three more players have been ruled out. One of them is Dorian Finney-Smith, one of their main defenders. The Nets have struggled on offence recently and they have barely averaged over 100 points in their last three fixtures. For the season, they are averaging 111.4 points which has them ranked 25th on offence.
