Milwaukee Bucks vs Boston Celtics Prediction & Betting Tips - NBA
by Kennedy Kechula in NBA Predictions
An enticing matchup is on the cards in the NBA when the Milwaukee Bucks welcome the Boston Celtics next. This is a top-of-the-table clash in the Eastern Conference as second-placed Milwaukee trail leaders Boston by four games. The Bucks are seeing a dip in form at the moment and arrive for this match having won just once in five outings. This was a close 125-121 victory over the struggling San Antonio Spurs. Before that, they had lost two in a row and are also currently on a two-game skid. Adrian Griffin’s men were defeated 132-116 at home by the Jazz in their last match and at one point in the game led by 31. Damian Lillard missed the game but the guard will be available for this match. Cameron Payne is ‘Questionable’ while Jae Crowder remains sidelined with a groin problem. The Bucks are ranked second in offence but defence is where their problems lie. They are giving up an average of 119.9 points a game which is the 24th worst record.
Boston will be looking to take advantage of Milwaukee's struggles and peel further away in the East. Joe Mazzulla’s men have however not dominated on the road as they have at home. The Celtics are unbeaten at home and all eight of their defeats have come when away. Five of those have come against fellow East teams. After a close 133-131 loss in Indiana, the Celtics regrouped in their return home to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves. They won 127-120 in a match that saw the two teams with the two best records in the league face off. Kristaps Poringis missed the game and is set to be absent in Milwaukee too. The centre is Boston’s third-leading scorer and his absence is a big blow especially as the Bucks have a size advantage. Boston won the first matchup of the season at home 119-116 and have now won two in a row against Milwaukee.

Our Milwaukee Bucks vs Boston Celtics Prediction
Our prediction for the Milwaukee Bucks v the Boston Celtics is for the Bucks to win. The Bucks are one of the best teams in the league and have been at their absolute best when playing at home. Boston on the other hand hasn’t dominated on the road as at home. The absence of Kristaps Porzingis, who is Boston’s third-leading scorer, also gives Milwaukee an advantage here.
