Taylor Fritz is the fourth seed at the Cinch Championships and faces unseeded Milos Raonic in round two. The winner will face unseeded opposition in the quarter-final after seventh seed Holger Rune lost in the first round of this grass court tournament. Fritz is the world number 12 and 11th in the Live ATP Race. Winning this match will take him into tenth, ahead of Novak Djokovic. The American is yet to reach the last eight of this tournament. Round one saw him get a straight sets win over unseeded Taro Daniel, winning both sets 6-3. He's trying to win his third grass court tournament, having won the Eastbourne title in 2019 and again three years later.

Milos Raonic reached the final at Wimbledon eight years ago. The Canadian was ranked as high as third in 2016 but his career has been blighted by injuries. Twice this year he's had to retire from a match. He's 186th in the latest rankings but has risen to 155th after he beat Cameron Norrie in the first round. He had to come from behind to win that match and two sets (including the decider) went to a tie-break. Raonic is known for his serve and hit 47 aces in that match. That set a record for the most aces in a three-set match. Last week saw him reach the Libema Open quarter-finals, losing to eventual winner Alex de Minaur.
