Luke Littler is seven points clear at the top of the 2025 Darts Premier League. Thursday sees Night 12 being played in Liverpool and in the quarter-finals, the Nuke faces Michael van Gerwen who is fifth in the table. Here's our match prediction.
Littler is the defending champion and on his way to the play-offs. The top four qualify and he is 15 points ahead of fifth-placed van Gerwen. So far he has won four of the 11 Nights but has gone three without a win.
Last week saw him beaten by Stephen Bunting iin the semi-finals. He is still way ahead of the other seven players in this tournament when it comes to overall average (103.27) and the number of 180s scored. He's scored 122 maximums, compared to van Gerwen's 51.
This is the fifth match between these two players in this year's competition. Van Gerwen won the first back in Night One but on a deciding leg. Since then, LIttler has won three in a row.
The Dutchman is outside of the play-off positions but is level on points with fourth-placed Gerwyn Price. He's in fifth because Mighty Mike is yet to win a Night. We tip Littler to win and score the most 180s.
