Michael Mmoh vs Nick Kyrgios Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Houston

Australian Nick Kyrgios has had a good year so far and has moved up to 94th in the rankings. He takes on lucky loser Michael Mmoh in the quarter finals of the US Men's Clay Court Championships. Krygios has been as low as 137th in the rankings this year and this is only the fourth tournament he's played in 2022. When he has played though, the Australian has played well. He took Daniil Medvedev to four sets in the Australian Open (where he won the men's doubles title), reached the last eight at Indian Wells (losing in three sets to Rafa Nadal) and then the last 16 in Miami, where he beat Andrey Rublev. This is his first clay court tournament since 2019 (he last playe the French Open five years ago) but he has beaten McKenzie McDonald and seventh seeded Tommy Paul to reach the quarter finals. Both matches went to three sets but this match looks an easier task.

Mmoh began this week ranked 226th in the world.  The American had to play in the qualifying rounds and was beaten by Mitchell Kreuger in straight sets. Withdrawals saw Mmoh be given a lucky loser spot and he's made the most of it. Mmoh went from being out of the tournament to receiving a bye in the first round. The last 16 saw him beat Sam Querrey in straight sets. He's spent a lot of the year on the Challenger Tour and got to the semi-finals in Cleveland. Forli, Turin and Monterrey but the highest ranked player being was in 150th position. He lost in the first qualifying round of both the Australian Open and Miami Masters. Back Kyrgios to win this in straight sets.and set up a semi-final against either Reilly Opelka or Giys Brouwer.
