Michael Mmoh vs Mackenzie Mcdonald Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Delray Beach Open

We're guaranteed an unseeded American in the last four of the Delray Beach Open. Michael Mmoh faces Mackenzie McDonald with the remaining seeds in the top half of the draw being Taylor Fritz (1) and J.J. Wolf (9). Mmoh began this tournament with a world ranking of 87.  Last month he achieved a career high ranking of 83rd but is now up to 81st in the live list. The 25-year-old reached the last 32 of the Australian Open last month. He had to win three qualifiers just to get in the main draw and beat Alexander Zverev in the second round, before losing to J.J. Wolf. Since then, the American lost in the last 32 in Dallas last week. He had a tougher draw than he perhaps imagined as it was eventual champion Yibling Wu who beat him in three sets. In Delray Beach this week he's had wins over Aleksandar Kovacevic (dropping the middle set) and then third seeded Denis Shapovalov, again losing the second set.

Mackenzie McDonald was ranked 56th at the start of this Delray Beach Open. He can climb as high as 49th (one below his career-high) with a win over Mmoh. The 27-year-old began this year by reaching the last 16 in both the Adelaide tournaments. That included an upset win over Britain's Dan Evans. In the Australian Open, McDonald caused two shocks as he beat Brandon Nakashima and then top seeded Rafa Nadal before losing in straight sets to Yoshihito Nishioka, who had already beaten him in Adelaide. Last week saw him lose to world number 14 Frances Tiafoe in the Dallas Open. This week in Delray Beach, McDonald has beaten Taro Daniel and then got his revenge on Nishioka with a three-set win, losing the middle set. This could be a tight match but it's McDonald who can get the victory.
