This is an important game and a win could see Miami Heat go top of the Eastern Conference Southeast Division. They host the Memphis Grizzlies who are second in the Western Conference Southwest Division. Miami are also second in their division with a 26-24 season record, the same as the Atlanta Hawks. A win here will take them to the top of the division if the Hawks fail to beat the New Orleans Pelicans. Overall, Miami are fifth in the Eastern Conference and they go into this game having won their last four matches. All tight victories but they won't care about that at this time of the season. Miami haven't had it all their own way at home this season and have a 14-12 record. The last two have been won though and they will be confident of making it three in a row.

The Memphis Grizzlies are second in their division but have little hope of catching the Dallas Mavericks. Their 24-23 record is four wins behind the divisional leaders. Overall though, they are eighth in the Western Conference and in with a good chance of making the postseason. They have won three of their last four matches, including a win over Philadelhia 76ers, though the beaten team has lost three of their last five matches. On the road, Memphis have a 12-9 record this season. Miami are going to be difficult to beat and they can get the win, but will it take them top of their division?
