The spiraling Miami Heat will welcome the Boston Celtics in their next NBA assignment, seeking to snap their current losing run. They have dropped to ninth in the Eastern Conference and trail their second-placed visitors by close to 20 games. Read on for our prediction of this match.

The Heat are seeking to snap a five-game losing streak. This run is threatening their postseason hopes. Erik Spoelstra’s men, who have been at home in their last four fixtures, are 6.5 games from tumbling out of the play-in.

The Heat, who are seven games below .500, were outclassed 119-104 by the Clippers last time out.

The Celtics are also seeking to bounce back after suffering a disheartening loss to the Thunder last time out. Hosting the West high-flyers and one of the heavy favourites to challenge them for the NBA title, the Celtics were outmuscled 118-112.

The loss, their 19th of the campaign, snapped a run of five straight victories. Losing to OKC left many questioning Boston’s capabilities of retaining their NBA crown.
