Miami Dolphins are 2-3 for the season but have a great chance of victory at home to the New York Jets. The Dolphins are tenth overall in the AFC but a win here will boost their chances of getting a wild card into the play-offs. They may well have lost three of their five matches this season but they face a Jets side that have lost all of their five games. Miami haven't had an easy fixture list so far this season. Their losses have come against the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks. That trio of sides have a combined season record of 11-3 but the combined points loss to them for the Dolphins is only 21 points. Their two wins have come against the Jacksonville Jaguars and last week a 43-17 win away at the San Francisco 49ers. 

The New York Jets had a 7-9 record last season but will do well to get anywhere near that this time around. They are already 0-5 for the season and that decade wait for a play-off place will stretch on for another year. The Jets have already conceded 171 points this season. Their latest effort was a 40-10 defeat by Arizona and their fixture list isn't getting any easier. Upcoming opponents include Buffalo, Kansas and New England. The nearest they have come to a win was against Denver. That match was tight in the final quarter before the Broncos scored a touchdown and eventually won by nine points. The Jets have been weakened by the loss of quarterback Sam Darmold. Another problem is their lack of possession. Go for the Dolphins to get the win here on a -8.5 point spread.
