The Memphis Grizzlies are in a good run of form and are now aiming for their fourth consecutive win after beating the Portland Trail Blazers 123-98 at this venue on Tuesday. 

Ja Morant returned to the court and put in a standout performance with 22 points and 11 assists, helping the team to 36 points in the first quarter which the Blazers never managed to reel back in. 

The Grizzlies are now the second-highest-scoring team in the NBA, putting up 120.4 points per game on average, while they are allowing 112.8 PPG (16th overall).

Meanwhile, the Detroit Pistons earned their fourth win in their last eight matches on Tuesday when they held off the Toronto Raptors to secure a narrow 102-100 victory at home. 

Jaden Ivey scored 25 points in the victory, while Malik Beasley and Jalen Duren added 14 and 13 points respectively, with the latter also recording four blocks in the match. 

The Pistons have not been the most prolific team this season, averaging just 109.4 PPG, but they’ve been much better on defence, now up to ninth, allowing 111.0 PPG.
