The winless Memphis Grizzlies will look to stop the bleeding when they host the red-hot Mavericks for this Western Conference NBA matchup. It’s been a nightmare start to the year for Memphis who are now 0-3 following their most recent 113-106 away loss to the Wizards. The 25-game suspension of star point guard Ja Morant will sting even more now as the team flounders in his absence. Memphis lost their opener to the Pelicans by a score of 111-104 before falling just short to the Denver Nuggets 108-104. The loss to Washington means that the Grizzlies are yet to break the 110 points mark despiste averaging 116.1 last season. However, there is still hope that Memphis can turn things around. They’ve historically put up excellent results without Ja Morant in the team in recent seasons and they have been elite at the FedExForum over the past two years.
