Maxime Cressy vs Taylor Fritz Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Eastbourne International

Third seeded Taylor Fritz takes on unseeded Maxime Cressy in an all-American Eastbourne final. Fritz is bidding to win this title for the second time after success three years ago. It'd also be his second title of 2022 after his win at Indian Wells. This could be a match-up we see at Wimbledon as both have been drawn in the same quarter. Fritz is the world number 14 and has enjoyed his return to Eastbourne after failing to win in his first two grass court tournaments of the year. He's had victories over Thiago Monteiro and Alexander Bublik before his three set win over sixth seed and defending champion Alex de Minaur in the semi-final. This is his first match against Cressy.

Now he takes on an American who may not have too many British fans cheering for him in this final. Cressy beat the fifth seeded Reilly Opelka in the first round and since then has beaten Dan Evans, top seed Cameron Norrie and Jack Draper to reach the final. It's a big improvement on his loss to Dominic Stricker in Stuttgart a couple of weeks ago. His opponent was ranked 200th at the time. Cressy is in his second final of the year, the other was in Melbourne at the start of  2022 when he lost to Rafael Nadal. The American began this week ranked 60th but is up to 45th in the live rankings and will climb to 37th if winning this title. It's the first of two big matches for him as he's drawn Felix Auger-Aliassime in the first round at Wimbledon. Cressy has done well to reach this final but it looks like the end of his run. Back Fritz to win the title, though it might take three sets to do so.
