Maxime Cressy vs Felix Auger Aliassime Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Dubai Open

Fourth seed Felix Auger-Aliassime and world number 36 Maxime Cressy will on Tuesday face off in the first round of the Dubai Open on an outdoor hard court. This is the second meeting between the two with the first meeting seeing Cressy win 3-1 at last year’s Wimbledon Championship. Cressy has been blowing hot and cold all season and arrives in Dubai, for his tournament debut, after being eliminated in the second round at the Marseille Open. The American beat world number 155 Geoffrey Blancaneaux in three sets before relinquishing a first-set lead to lose 2-1 to eventual finalist Benjamin Bonzi. Cressy reached the final in Montpellier which is the highlight of his season thus far. Montpellier is the only tournament out of five that Cressy has registered multiple wins in. He starts the week in 37th place in the live ranking and can move right back up to 36th with a win.

Felix Auger-Aliassime is also making his debut in Dubai and arrives in this tournament ranked ninth in the world, his lowest world ranking in five months. The Canadian started the season as world number six but his unconvincing displays thus far have occasioned his drop. Auger-Aliassime arrives in Dubai after making the semifinals in Doha where he was eliminated, for the second successive tournament, by eventual champion Daniil Medvedev. Since being beaten 2-0 by Alexei Popyrin in Adelaide, Auger-Aliassime is yet to lose a first-round match. To move back into the top six, he will need to win it all in Dubai.
