Maxime Cressy vs Corentin Moutet Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Challenger Rennes

Fourth seed Corentin Moutet will on Thursday face unseeded Maxime Cressy in the second round of the Rennes Open Challenger. Cressy is having a torrid year but his form on indoor hard court has been superb. The American has registered an 11-23 record this season and has a losing record on every other surface except indoor. On indoor hard court he has won seven of 10 matches with the latest coming in the first round here. Marking his debut in Rennes, Cressy defeated compatriot Emilio Nava in straight sets with both sets requiring a tiebreaker. He is now up two places to 124th in the live ranking. Cressy finished as runner-up at the Open Sud de France on indoor hard court back in February.

Corentin Moutet defeated lucky loser Eliakim Coulibaly by the loss of five games in the first round. The win marked his first match on indoor hard court this season. As he is a former semifinalist here, Moutet will fancy his chances of another deep run in the competition. The Frenchman has also struggled with his form this year and has lost more matches than he has won. He has compiled a 12-16 record with the majority of his wins coming on outdoor hard court and grass. Despite being in good form at the moment with three wins in five matches, Moutet has dropped in the live ranking. He is currently ranked 121st after dropping 24 places due to losing 116 ranking points. The winner here will book a quarterfinal showdown with either Zizou Bergs or Mattia Bellucci.
