Unseeded Matteo Berrettini takes on qualifier Marton Fucsovics for a place in round two of the Erste Open. This match is being played on an indoor hard court in Vienna but who'll reach round two? Here's our match prediction.

Matteo Berrettini is at 41st in the live rankings and his aim over the next few months will be to get back into the top 32. Doing so would see him be seeded at the Australian Open. A good run in Vienna will help the Italian.

The winner of this match faces either fifth seed Frances Tiafoe or unseeded Cameron Norrie next. Berrettini hasn't won two matches in a tournament since getting to the final of the clay court tournament in Kitzbuhel. 

Marton Fucsovics is down at 88th in the live list and had to go through the qualifying rounds to get into this main draw. That wasn't easy and in the final qualifier he needed three sets to beat Richard Gasquet. 

Before the qualifying rounds, Fucsovics had won only two of his last six matches. He trails Berrettini 2-1 in previous meetings. The most recent match saw Berrettini beat him at Wimbledon. They're 1-1 on hard courts but last played on this surface five years ago.
