Marton Fucsovics vs Holger Rune Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Miami

Seventh seed Holger Rune is playing his first main draw match at the Miami Masters. He faces unseeded Marton Fucsovics in this second round match after receiving a bye in the first round. Awaiting the winner in round three is either 31st seeded Diego Schwartzman or unseeded Yibing Wu. Rune had a great run in the second half of last year including winning the Paris Masters. 2023 got off to a slow start for him though. He began this week ranked eighth but he's only 18th in the Live ATP Race at the time of writing this preview. Rune's best performance this year has been a couple of semi-finals in Rotterdam and Acapulco and he hasn't beaten a top 20 ranked player this year. His most recent tournament was at Indian Wells where he lost to Stan Wawrinka in three sets.

Marton Fucsovics started this tournament ranked 74th, well below his career high of 31st achieved four years ago. The Hungarian began this year by winning a Challenger Tour event held in Canberra but didn't beat anyone ranked in the top 130 at the time. Back on the ATP Tour he's failed to reach a quarter final this year. Some improved form was shown at Indian Wells with a run to the last 16, including a win over Alex de Minaur. To reach the second round in Miami (Rune received a bye), Fucsovics defeated Pedro Cachin in straight sets. His opponent would have preferred the match to be on clay rather than an outdoor hard court. Rune can get the win here.
