Marton Fucsovics vs Cameron Norrie Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Italian Open

Familiar foes Martin Fucsovics and Cameron Norrie will face off for the fifth time in their careers at the Rome Masters on Sunday morning. Following a tough start on the clay court this year, Fucsovics has seen his world ranking slip from 75th last month to 92nd ahead of this tournament. The Hungarian suffered a first-round exit at the Monte Carlo Masters in his first clay court tournament of the year, followed by a second-round exit in Munich a week later. At the Madrid Masters, Fucsovics looked completely out of sorts and lost in his opening match to qualifier Marco Cecchinato in straight sets. Here in Rome, though, the Hungarian has looked much better and is yet to drop a set following wins over Filip Krajinovic and, more notably, Alex De Minaur in the last round. Fucsovics will have gained a lot of confidence from that win and will need to carry that into this match to stand a chance of progressing. 

Meanwhile, following appearances on the hard surface at Indian Wells and the Miami Masters, Norrie is yet to find the form he showed earlier in the season that saw him reach back-to-back finals on the clay in February. Norrie has already earned one clay court title this year, which came over Carlos Alcaraz in Rio, just a week after losing to the same opponent in the final in Buenos Aires. However, since returning to the clay last month, Norrie has suffered a first-round exit and two second-round exits in his last three tournaments coming into this one. The Brit looked good in his opening match here in Rome against qualifier Alexandre Muller, winning in straight sets, and now has a positive record of 24-8 for the year and 13-4 on the clay. Norrie has beaten this opponent in all four previous encounters, twice on clay, and will be expecting another win in this one.
