Marton Fucsovics vs Andrey Rublev Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Rotterdam

World number eight Andrey Rublev has already won a team trophy this year, now he bids for a singles title. He takes on Marton Fucsovics in the final of the AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam. Rublev ended 2020 in form and has carried that into the new year. He won all his matches when partnering Daniil Medvedev as Russia won the ATP Cup in early Febuary, His partner then knocked Rublev out of the Australian Ooen in the quarter finals. This week started with a couple of straight sets victories. He dropped a set to Jeremy Chardy in the last eight setting up a semi-final with Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Greek player was the second seed, two higher than Rublev. However, he beat Tsitsipas in straight sets to reach this final. He won five titles last year and has won his last six tournament finals.

His opponent is world number 59 Marton Fucsovics who is in his third ATP Tour final. The other two were in 250 series events, this is a 500 series tournament. Of his two previous finals, he did win the 2018 Geneva Open. Now his long wait is over and the Hungarian (once ranked 31st in the world) is in another final. He had to qualify for this tournament but was in decent form after reaching the third round of the Australian Open. His first round match here was a tough one as he won a three-setter against Reilly Opeka, each set going to a tie-break. Since then he has had three straight sets wins but has not had to face a seed. The semi-finals saw him beat world number 26 Borna Coric for the loss of only five games. This is a big step up in class though and Rublev can be backed to win in straight sets.
