Marta Kostyuk vs Madison Brengle Prediction & Betting Tips - ATX Open

We are in the second round of the very first edition of the Austin Open where one of the matches will see eighth seed Marta Kostyuk face off with world number 95 Madison Brengle on an outdoor hard court on Thursday. The two have met each other twice before and the record is evenly split with one win each. Kostyuk defeated unseeded Dalma Galfi in straight sets to boke this round. It was her 11th win of the season and all have come on outdoor hard courts. She has however not won two matches back to back since making the quarterfinals in Adelaide at the start of the year. Having started the year outside of the top 60, the Ukrainian has gradually gone up the world rankings despite her inconsistent start and is now ranked 51st in the live ranking and can move into the top 50 for the first time in two years with a win on Thursday.

Madison Brengle has been on free fall in the WTA world rankings this year and has dropped from 57th at the beginning of the year to 95th in the final week of February. But her first-round straight sets win over the qualifier Louisa Chirico has bumped her up to 87th in the live ranking and she will be hoping to make it back-to-back wins for only the second time this season which will move her up a further three places to 84th. The American has been on the receiving end more times than she has won this year but when she has won, she has been assertive with her four wins all coming by straight sets.
