Marketa Vondrousova vs Madison Keys Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA US Open

17th seeded Madison Keys attempts to reach the last four of the US Open for the third time. To get to the semi-finals, Keys has to get past the ninth seed and 2023 Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova. Possible semi-final opponents include Aryna Sablenka and Ons Jabeur. Keys reached the US Open in 2017 and then made it to the last four the following year. This is her first time past the fourth round since 2018 and it's her second successive Grand Slam quarter final. The American has only dropped one set so far in this tournament. That was in round three when having to come from a set down to beat the 14th seed Liudmila Samsonova. The first set was lost 7-5 but only four games were dropped in the two that followed. Keys continued her good form with a straight sets win over third seeded Jessica Pegula and only lost four games. That win has taken her up to 15th and a win will see her climb to 11th,

Marketa Vondrousova is only three wins away from winning two successive Grand Slam titles. The Wimbledon champion had only once before gotten to the fourth round in two consecutive Grand Slam events. Her previous best in the US Open was reaching the fourth round five years ago. That's been surpassed this year but she had a tough fourth round match against unseeded Peyton Stearns. The first set was lost on a tie-break but Vondrousova fought back to get through and only lost five games in the two sets that followed. Before that win, the Czech had only lost ten games in the first three rounds. This is her first match against Keys and we go for Vondrousova to get the win.
