Marin Cilic is seeded fifth for the Australian Open but has had a tough time making it to the fourth round. The first round went smoothly enough as he beat Bernard Tomic in straight sets. The second round saw him Michael McDonald in four sets but then life started to get a bit more difficult for him. Cilic found himself two sets down to Fernando Verdasco before a titanic comeback saw him beat the 26th seed in five sets. Cilic reached the final here last year losing to Roger Federer and reached the quarter final stage of three of the four Grand Slam tournaments last year.

Roberto Batista Agut is ranked 23rd in the world and has reached the fourth round of the Australian Open on three previous occasions. Last year saw him lose in the first round and there were a few moments when he thought history might repeat itself as he struggled past Andy Murray in five sets.  He led by two sets in that match before losing the next two and did just the same in the second round. This time he was up against home favourite John Millman before coming through 6-4 in the final set. It was a more impressive performance in the third round as he beat tenth seeded Karen Khachanov in staight sets. That's not his first big scalp of the year as he's already beaten Novak Djokovic on his way to winning a tournament in Qatar.  This should be a great game and it's worth taking a chance on Agut to get the win here.
