Marin Cilic vs Cameron Norrie Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Estoril Open

Marin Cilic bids to reach his first ATP final in three years. He's the sixth seed for this Estoril Open and takes on unseeded Cameron Norrie. Cilic began the week ranked 42nd in the world but is a former world number three and that was in 2018. Cilic hasn't had that great a year and this is only his second semi-final of the year. The other was in Singapore but he didn't beat anyone in the top 80 to get that far. He's won two clay court tournaments but none since 2017. In that year and the one that followed, Cilic reached the quarter finals of the French Open. His only clay court tournament this year saw him lose in the first round in Monte Carlo to David Goffin. This week got off to a shaky start in the first two rounds. In both rounds, he had to go to three sets to beat Carlos Alcarez and then Nuno Borges. The quarter final saw him beat another player who has been sliding down the rankings, Kevin Anderson. Cilic won the first set, then his opponent retired. 

Cameron Norrie continues to make strides up the rankings. Last week saw him climb eight places to number 50 after reaching the quarter final in Barcelona. He beat Karen Khachanov and David Goffin before losing to Rafael Nadal in straight sets. That followed getting a win over Grigor Dimitrov in the Miami Open and he's also beaten Fabio Fognini this year. This week has seen the British player again doing well and claiming another big scalp. He had to come from behind to beat Pedro Martinez in round two and that set up a quarter final with world number two Cristian Garin. Norrie again lost the first set but fought back to win the match.
