Mariano Navone vs Cameron Norrie Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Rio Open

Second seeded Cameron Norrie is just two wins away from retaining his Rio Open title. He won this outdoor clay court tournament last year and now faces qualifier Mariano Novone in the last four. The winner will take on either fourth seed Francisco Cerundolo or fifth seeded Sebastian Baez in the final on Sunday. Norrie was 23rd in the world when this tournament started and is 29th in the live rankings. A win here will take him up to 26th but he's 12th in the Live ATP Race. This year has seen him get to reach one quarter final in Auckland and he didn't get his clay court season off to a good start. Norrie lost in his first match in Buenos Aires but has gone much better this week. His draw has been rather kind though and if he does get to his second final here in a row, it'll have been achieved without playing a seeded player. Only one set has been dropped and that was the second played in his semi-final against Thiago Seyboth Wild.

Mariano Navone has been having the best week of his career. This tournament began with him ranked 113th but getting to this semi-final has taken him up to a career high of 76th. If he can get past Norrie he'll go up to as high as 60th. He had to qualify for this tournament but did so without losing a set in his first two matches. That took him into the main draw of an ATP Tour tournament for the first time in 2024. His first round match against Federico Coria didn't start well with him losing the first set 6-1. He fought back well though and has since had wins over Yannick Hanfmann and then in the last eight, a three set win over Joao Fonseca after losing the first. We tip Norrie to win in straight sets.
