Magda Linette vs Victoria Azarenka Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Miami

Magda Linette and Victoria Azarenka will face of for the third time in their careers on Saturday evening when they meet in round three at the Miami Open. Linette was one of the most consistent players on circuit earlier this year, making it to the advanced stages of the majority of the tournaments she participated in, such as the Australian Open, where she reached the semi-final stages before losing out to Aryna Sabalenka. She took a month off thereafter and returned in the tournament in Merida, where she reached the quarter-final but suffered a shock defeat to Rebecca Peterson. Since then, her form has taken a dip, getting knocked out in the first round in Austin and Indian Wells. Linette beat Evgeniya Rodian (7-6, 6-2) in the first round of this tournament and will be hoping that she can build on that performance in this match as she tries to find her best form again. 

Like her opponent, Azarenka also reached the semi-final of the Australian Open in January, where she was eventually defeated by Elena Rybakina. Thereafter she reached the round of 16 in Doha and Dubai before a poor showing at Indian Wells, where she lost in the tournament opener.  Azarenka beat Camila Giorgi in the previous round (6-3, 6-1) to bring her record ot 11-6 for the year. Despite her somewhat underwhelming record, Azarenka is a tricky customer on her day and will fancy her chances in this one.
