Madison Keys vs Sloane Stephens Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA French Open

It's an all American semi-final as tenth seeded Sloane Stephens takes on Madison Keys who is seeded three places below her. This semi-final is a repeat of the 2017 US Open final and that saw Stephens take her first Grand Slam as she ran out a 6-3 6-0 winner. The two Americans have only played each other twice and both have been won by Keys in straight sets with the loss of only nine games but this is their first meeting on clay. Stephens struggled after her maiden Grand Slam title but recovered her form in March to win the Miami Open beating three top ten players in doing so. Her performances on clay this year haven't been much to write home about but that's changed in Paris as she has made it past the third round here for the first time in her career though that nearly didn't happen as she had to come from a set down against Camila Giorgi to win 8-6 in the final set of their third round encounter. Her quarter final was a lot simpler though dropping only four games against Daria Kasatkina.

Madison Keys is yet to drop a set so far in this tournament but has got this far without having to play an opponent with a top twenty ranking. This is the first time the American has made it past the fourth round in Paris and this is only the third time she has reached the last four of a Grand Slam. Highlights of her year so far have been a semi-final appearance on clay in Charleston but you have to go back to the Australia Open in January for the last time she beat a player ranked higher than her. Stephens was impressive in the quarter final and seems to be running into form at just the right time, go for her to get the win.
