Madison Brengle vs Iga Swiatek Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Miami

It's already been a massive week for Iga Swiatek. The second seed faces Madison Brengle in the Miami Masters third round, knowing she will soon be the world number one. With Ashleigh Barty announcing her retirement, the current world number two will take over the top spot when the next ranking list is released after this tournament. That was confirmed when Swiatek beat Viktorija Golubic in the second round of the Miami Masters. The 19-year-old is already the top points earner this year and comes into this tournament after two recent wins in Doha and Indian Wells. Swiatek is now unbeaten in her last 12 matches and only dropped two games in her second round win.  The Pole has had two previious matches against Brengle. A clay court match three years ago was lost (Iga was only ranked 412th at the time) but Swiatek won last year in a hard court match in straight sets.

Madison Brengle was ranked 59th at the start of this tournament. Her career high ranking is 35th but that was achieved seven years ago. Brengle reached the quarter final of the second tournament held in Adelaide in January. However,no players in the top 60 were beaten. She was 3-3 in the first set with Allison Riske before retiring. Brengle lost in the second round of the Australian Open, winning only four games against Naomi Osaka. After failing to qualify for the main draw in Dubai, Brengle got to the last 16 in Doha. That's not as good as it reads as her first round win was against a player ranked 277th and then Brengle received a walkover win against Victoria Azarenka before winning just two games against Garbine Muguruza. A first round exit at Indian Wells followed. In Miami, the American has beaten wild card Alexandra Eala and 29th seeded Liudmila Samsonova, both in straight sets. Swiatek is in top form and can win this in strraight sets.
