Lyon OU continue their bid to avoid relegation from Top 14. They begin the weekend one place above the bottom two and host Stade Rochelais who are eighth in the table. The home side lost their most recent Top 14 game 36-21 at Clermont. Their away form is putting their place in Top 14 at risk. The loss at Clermont means they have lost all eight of their away fixtures, the worst record in the table. Home form is keeping them alive with five out of six games in Top 14 being won. Their only loss at home has been to leaders Stade Francais Paris but only by four points. Since then they have had three home wins. most recently beating USA Perpignan.

Stade Rochelais are still in with a good chance of making the play-offs. They are only two places behind sixth spot but level on points with Clermont who currently fill that spot. They have won seven games in Tp 14 this season but lost the same number. Of those seven wins, six have come on home soil. On the road, they have won just one match (at Section Paloise who have currently lost their last four games) but lost the other six.
