Night 3 in the 2025 Premier League Darts will see Luke Humphries taking on Stephen Bunting in the quarter-final at the 3Arena in Dublin on Thursday night. Cool Hand Luke leads the league table with eight points while The Bullet is bottom of the standings and has yet to get off the mark. Let’s get into the match prediction!

After thrashing Chris Dobey 6-1 in the final on opening night, Luke Humphries came up short on night 2, losing to Luke Littler 6-5 in a thrilling showdown. 

Cool Hand Luke averaged 93.68 in the final, notably lower than the 101.98 and 106.07 he posted in the preceding rounds. He also tied Littler’s 11 180s across the night. 

Having not played the Players Championship on Monday, Humphries has now won eight and lost two of his last 10 matches across all competitions. 

Meanwhile, Stephen Bunting has found it tough going in the competition and ran into a red-hot Michael van Gerwen in the first round last week, losing the match 6-1. 

Unfortunately for the Bullet, things did not get much better in the Players Championship in the week, as he was defeated in the opening round by 79th-ranked Patrick Geeraets 6-5. 

While Humphries is the more successful player in this contest, Bunting did win the most recent encounter between the two en route to the Bahrain Masters title last month.
