Night 13 sees a repeat of last week’s final in Liverpool. Luke Humphries is second in the Premier Darts League and faces Gerwyn Price who is third place. Can Cool Hand Luke get revenge for last week’s defeat? Here’s our match prediction.
Luke Humphries cut the gap between himself and league leader Luke Littler to four points last week. He made it to his sixth final of this tournament (of which two have been won) but was beaten 6-4 by the Welshman. Humphries is nine points clear of fifth place with the top four going into the play-offs.
This is the fifth match between the pair in this season’s Premier Darts League. They are level at 2-2 and Price leads 20-19 in legs played. The Iceman has won three of the Nights so far. That’s pretty good since he has only reached four finals.
Last week saw him beat Chris Dobey and Rob Cross (both by a 6-2 scoreline) before defeating Humphries in the final. He is three points above fifth place and only ahead of Nathan Aspinall in fourth on Nights won.
This should be another close match between the pair and we go for Price to repeat the win that he achieved last week.
