Saturday’s Indian Premier League action gets underway at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, where the Lucknow Super Giants will be playing host to the Gujarat Titans. LSG are in fifth place after five games, while GT lead the league standings. Let’s get into the match prediction.
The Lucknow Super Giants enter this match off the back of arguably their best performance of the season, holding off the Knight Riders to a thrilling four-run victory on Tuesday.
LSG posted an excellent 238/3 batting first, led by Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh, who scored 87* in 36 balls and 81 in 48, respectively. The pair are now first and third in the orange cap standings.
Shardul Thakur has been the chief contributor with the ball for the Super Giants with nine wickets to his name, placing him seventh in the race for the purple cap.

Sai Sudharsan blasted a sensational 82 runs in just 53 balls in the Titans' 217/6. He is now trailing Pooran by just 15 runs in the leading run-scorer standings this year.
These two sides have met five times in the past in the IPL, and GT won the first four encounters, but lost the most recent last season by 33 runs.
