While Frech received a bye in round one, Bronzetti defeated Anhelina Kalinina in straight sets, though nine games were dropped by her. The Italian is 65th in the live rankings and has won seven matches this year but lost the same number.

Her best 2025 performance has been getting to the final in Cluj. These two players have met twice before and Bronzetti has won both, one being on a hard court in this tournament last year. We tip Bronzetti to win this match.
