Fifth seed Katerina Siniakova faces unseeded Lucia Bronzetti for a place in the indoor hard court Transylvania Open final. The winner will take on either top seed Anastasia Potapova or lucky loser Aliaksandra Sasnovich. Here's our semi-final match predidtion.

Siniakova had lost her last three matches and failed to get past the first round of a tournament this year. That's all behind her now though with this run to the semi-final. It's not been an easy run to the last four.

Three sets were needed to get past both Francesca Jones and Caroline Dolehide. The latter was a tough battle for her after losing the first set. In the quarter-finals, the 28-year-old defeated Viktoriya Tomova in straight sets and is 52nd in the live rankings. A win here will take Siniakova into her first final since 2023.

Lucia Bronzetti (61st in the live rankings) managed to lose five times in her first four tournaments of 2025. Her form has improved in Cluj with wins over Simona Halep (for the loss of only two games), third seed Peyton Stearns and seventh-seeded Elisabetta Cocciaretto.

The two seeds were beaten without a set being dropped. This is her first semi-final since Gangzhou last year but she's yet to reach a hard court final. We go for over 20.5 games in this match.
