When it comes to the play-offs, the New England Patriots move up a gear or two and that's what has happened again this year. They won the Super Bowl in 2015 and 2017 and were runners-up last season when expected to beat Philadelphia Eagles. The Patriots won AFC East this season but lost five of their regular season games. They have already broken some hearts in Los Angeles having beaten the Chargers 41-28 in the divisional play-off. That took them into their eighth AFC Championship match in a row and again they were victorious defeating Kansas City Chiefs 37-31. They led 14-0 but by the end of the fourth quarter, the scores were tied at 31-31 before winning the match in overtime.

The last tine the Rams were in the Super Bowl, it was the year 2000 and they were based in St Louis. They won NFC West with an impressive 13-3 record taking them into the divsional play-offs where they faced the Dallas Cowboys winning 30-22 thanks to a great performance by CJ Anderson. That took them into the NFC Championship match and the Rams came out 26-23 winners. They had to come from behind having lost the first quarter 13-0. The Rams rallied in the second quarter but still trailed by three points at half-time. It was 23-23 at the end of the final quarter but a 57-yard  field-goal gave the Rams the win and their place in this Super Bowl.

The Rams possess the best offense in the NFC so the Patriiot's need to cope with that if they want to win. They managed to contain the Chiefs in the AFC Championship match and they have the best offense in the AFC. Tom Brady will of course be a key figure in this match and he's yet to be sacked this season. Go for the Patriots to land another Super Bowl.
