The MLB season has reached the League Championship Series, just one step away from the World Series. The Los Angeles Dodgers are the favourites to be the winners of the World Series, but first they have to get past the Atlanta Braves.  Both of these teams have one thing in common when it comes to the play-offs. Neither of them have lost a game yet, so someone's record has to go tonight. 

The Dodgers have beaten Milwaukee 2-0 and San Diego 3-0 on their way to this League Championship Series. In the main season, they finished top of the National League West with a 43-17 record. Their opponents had only a 35-25 record as they topped the National League East. Going into the play-offs, the Braves have beaten Cincinnati 2-0 and Miami 3-0. Not since 1988 have the Dodgers won the World Series, it's 1995 for their opponents, so a win for either will be their first this century.  This is a series that could go all the way to the scheduled seventh match as there's not a great deal between them. Both are strong sides but not unbeatable, the Braves have a more versatile offense and don't concede many home runs. However, the Dodgers have far more depth in their squad and can go 1-0 up.
