The LA Clippers host the Utah Jazz for this Western Conference battle in the NBA on Saturday. The Clips have dropped to seventh in the standings at 28-23 while the Jazz are sitting 14th with a 12-38 record. Here’s our match prediction.

The Clippers are coming off the back of a 119-112 home loss to the Indiana Pacers on Thursday. They’ve now lost their last three in a row and six of their last 10 overall, dropping them to seventh place and five games above .500.

Despite losing two straight at the Intuit Dome, the Clippers have been a strong home team this season. They’re 17-10 in front of  the local support, compared to 11-13 when they play on the road.

Los Angeles has been steadily increasing Kawhi’s minutes since he returned from his injury layoff. The loss to the Pacers on Thrusday was the first time he logged 30+ minutes in his 13 games played this season.

The Jazz put up a good fight against Phoenix on Friday night but ultimately lost 135-127 in overtime. Utah was playing well in recent days, managing to win twice in their last four outings.

The Jazz often find themselves involved in high-scoring contests, in large part down to their defense which ranks dead-last in adjusted defensive rating.
