The LA Clippers will welcome the Minnesota Timberwolves in their next match in the NBA. They currently hold fifth spot in the Western Conference and are 2.5 games clear of their visitors who are 11th. Below is our prediction for this match.

The Clippers are in fine form and will be eager to replicate this here and avenge their loss in Minnesota less than a week ago. Ty Lue’s men suffered a close 93-92 defeat to the Timberwolves in the two sides’ first meeting of the season.

Since then they have won back-to-back matches and are 8-2 in their last 10 fixtures. LA have defeated the Nuggets and Blazers in this two-game run and have done so averaging a whopping 126.5 points.

The Timberwolves are also coming into this match on the back of two successive wins. Chris Finch’s men, who have had consistency issues, ended a run of four straight losses by drawing first blood in this series.

They followed that up with a dominant 109-80 victory over the Lakers, improving to 10-10. The T-wolves are averaging 111.1 points and are ranked fifth in defence, just two places behind their hosts.

Joe Ingles and Robert Dillingham are unavailable through injury for this trip. The Timberwolves have won six times in the last seven meetings with the Clippers.
