The LA Clippers will be out to get back to winning ways when they host the Indiana Pacers next in the NBA. They arrive for the game sitting fourth in the Western Conference while the Pacers are sixth in the East. The Clippers are struggling at the moment and have lost five times in their last eight games. They were defeated 121-107 last time out at home by the Sixers. This was their 26th loss of the campaign and it left them just half a game from dropping out of the top four. The Clippers have however had a strong run against the Pacers in recent meetings and will be confident of bouncing back. They have won seven of the last nine matchups. LA won the first meeting of the season in Indiana 151-127. P.J. Tucker and Russell Westbrook have been ruled out for this game as they are nursing injuries. The Clippers have averaged 116 points over their last three outings.

The Indiana Pacers have been in good form lately and will arrive here fully confident of a win. Rick Carlisle’s men have won five of their last eight games and this has boosted their chances for automatic playoff qualification. They are currently half a game clear of their closest challengers for the sixth spot after winning 40 of 72 matches. The Pacers, who are ranked number one on offence, scored 145 points last time out away to the Lakers. This however wasn’t enough for a win as they lost by five points to see a two-game winning run snapped. Eight players scored in double figures for Indiana in the game with Pascal Siakam leading the way with 36 points. The Pacers, who have averaged 130 points over their last three matches, have James Johnson questionable here. Benedict Mathurin scored 34 points in the reverse match against the Clippers but he is out for the rest of the campaign.
