The LA Clippers and Denver Nuggets will resume their NBA Playoff series with Game 4 on deck on Saturday night. The Clippers lead the Nuggets 2-1 in the series. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

After two impressive performances in Denver, including securing a break in Game 2, the LA Clippers made the most of their home advantage on Thursday, taking the lead in the series with a massive 117-83 victory. 

James Harden has brought all his experience to the fore, putting up 21 points in the last match, while Kawhi Leonard and Norman Powell scored 20 apiece. LA shot 48% from the field and 18 of 39 from range in the last game. 

However, it was the Clippers' defence that was the most impressive part of their game, as they forced 16 turnovers, four steals and eight blocks to restrict the Nuggets to just 83 points.

Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets have not been at their best in this series and axing Michael Malone is now showing that there could be deeper issues plaguing this team. 

While Nikola Jokic has notched up two triple-doubles in the series, he has looked far less aggressive than usual, and support for the Joker on the court has been limited. 

Jamal Murray scored 23 points in the last game, but you get the feeling the Nuggets need a whole lot more from the rest of the team if they are to pull this series back level in this one.
