On Thursday night, we head to the Intuit Dome where the LA Clippers and Denver Nuggets will collide in Game 3 of their NBA Playoff series. The series is tied at 1-1, with the Clippers cancelling out the Nuggets' Game 1 victory with a 105-102 win on Monday. To the match prediction!

The Los Angeles Clippers will be looking to take the lead in the series here and will be feeling good about their performance in Colorado, where they were agonisingly close to winning both games. 

Nevertheless, having edged Game 2, they now have the advantage, and that is largely attributable to the incredible performance of Kawhi Leonard, who put up 39 points.

James Harden is rolling back the years lately, too, and he, along with Leonard and Ivica Zubac, have done a stellar job at minimising Nikola Jokic’s impact on the defensive end. 

Offensively, though, the Joker is still putting up ridiculously good numbers and racked up yet another Playoff triple-double of 26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in Sunday’s defeat. 

However, therein also lies Denver’s biggest problem, as they are nowhere close to being as good a side as their record suggests when he is not on the floor. This is also due to Jamal Murray and Russell Westbrook’s erratic form. 

Aside from needing their starters to step it up a notch, the Nuggets also need to eliminate the number of errors they are making, having committed 20 turnovers and missed eight free throws in the last match.
